Motorola opens its first ‘Moto Care’ center in India

Moto Care Center

Motorola India unveiled their first ‘Moto Care’ service center in Bangalore. Motorola claim that “this facility will provide best-in-class service and support to customers – while also offering a state-of-the art experience zone, allowing consumers to get ‘hands on’ with our product portfolio.”
The Moto Care center is located in the heart of the city on Jayanagar Road. The facility is spread across 3000 sq.ft, with the latest interior design features and experiences unique to Motorola. The entire area is split in 2 sections – (1) Service Support and (2) Experience Zone.

Service Support

The service and support area will give consumers a walk-in service experience with highly trained support staff. Support will be provided for various queries across software upgrades and device hardware repair.

Moto Care Experience Zone

The Experience Zone will give consumers the chance to experience the product. It will showcase Moto’s entire product portfolio – Moto X (including leather and wood versions), Moto G, Moto E, Moto Turbo, Motorola Nexus and Moto 360. The zone can also facilitate online orders via Flipkart, their exclusive online partner. Service staff will be on hand to guide consumers through the entire process.

Besides catering to customers directly in Jayanagar, Motorola’s flagship center will also benefit customers in neighbouring locations in Bangalore such as MG road, Koramangala, Indiranagar and Rajendra Nagar.

In addition to the Moto Care centre, they have a number of other options for customer care across India:

  • The Moto Care App on your device or customer helpline
  • Moto Care on Wheels is a pilot project that Motorola have initiated in New Delhi. As part of the project, for up to 30 days after purchase, Moto vans will service device issues right at customers’ doorsteps, just within a few hours
  • Customer service support via the online customer service portal
  • Over 150 repair and service centers across India that customers can contact or visit for assistance. A full list of service centers is available at motorola.com
